PACKAGES - ON SITE ACTIVITIES
|
We
would like to share with you our love for the various activities
available from our home base into the scenic boundaries of our
neighboring environment, covering but not limited to: cooking, fishing,
hiking, and for small groups, supervised painting hands-on classes. Our
varions local teachers and guides are all personal friends of ours and

KITCHEN WORKSHOP |

Marielle, a gourmet cook, will be happy to give you theme oriented hand-on cooking classes such as: "around a duck", featuring: "foie gras", "confirt" preserve, foie gras stuffed duck "magret' with a port sauce, together with its boneless version, two ducks "tatin' and more dishes that you will prepare for your own consumption. We also offer regional cooking lessons featuring, amoung other mouth watering dishes: lentils salt pork, "cassoulet" meat and bean casserole, pork and cabbage hot pot, home-made country stew, grand ma style casserle ... accompanied and followed by debates, hand-on preparation, tasting. Depending on what season you will visit us, we will also offer accordingly speficic game and wild mushrooms main course recipes, or use seasonal local produce and fruits for side orders and desserts. We combine local traditionnal cooking with a lesser calories understanding, allying taste and creativity. Our cooking lessons workshops may be accompanied by wine tasting and/or dessert preparations. |

Marielle and Francois are at your disposal to design and escort your own A LA CARTE discovery tour package (cultural, architectural, nature) according to your own interests and preferences. Minimum of 4 people required and the tour rate may vary according to program. |

Please feel free to ask us about dates and programs for the numerous summer reginal music festivals and concerts. For independant stays and thematic stays alike, you may want to add musical evenings, with advanced reservation (classical accordion, jazz traditionnal, regional music). We may then join you in a few dance steps. For local traditional country dancing, off holiday season, you may join an already set group. ) |
